500 Tree Adoption at Austin Discovery School

Help the TreeFolks staff distribute 500 FREE trees to our community at this fun event.
NeighborWoods distributes over 4,500 free trees to Austin area residents each year. We need help giving out 500 free trees to our community at the Tree Adoption event. These shifts involve carrying trees to the happy new owners, collecting data, and other tasks, as needed. It’s fun work for people who don’t mind getting a little dirty while meeting new people. Please dress for the weather and working outdoors. We require all volunteers to wear close-toed shoes for your safety. We will provide tree education and answer all the tree questions that you can think of!
***PLEASE NOTE*** There are two different timeslots for volunteers: you can register for 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, or 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
